Abstract. The results of the main photophysical properties study of nanosized ytterbium porphyrins complexes, which are promising for use in a new method of cancer theranostics, namely, the method of magneto-luminescent theranostics, are presented. The spectral properties of some synthesized ytterbium porphyrins complexes have been investigated.

Key words: ytterbium porphyrins complexes, luminescence lifetime, absorption spectra, luminescence quantum yield.
