In the paper, results of theoretical and experimental works on
a substantiation of type of a probing signal and methods of the spectral
analysis for definition of characteristics of meteorological objects are
presented. Under the received data, the comparative analysis of measured
parametres of meteoformations for signals of different types is carried out
and possibility of application of difficult signals and “superresolving”
methods is confirmed. The main principles of construction developed polarising
Doppler meteorological radar of 5,3 sm range are considered and the block
diagram and short description is presented.
